This training for Headache and sinus pressure massage course is specially developed for the experienced Beauty or Massage specialist who wants to offer a new treatment on their menu.
Class Description
Sinus Pressure Massage involves gentle to deep pressure applied to the sinus areas of the face to bring relief from nasal congestion, facial pain, and headaches. This class will discuss some of the common causes of sinus problems and conditions and demonstrate different techniques massage therapists can use to relieve pressure and pain for their clients.
Receive knowledge of various causes of sinus pain and pressure. Learn the locations of sinus pressure points.
Learn how to give a sinus pressure massage to relieve the most common sinus complaints by using your hands and a warm towel.
Observe sinus massage techniques as well as give and receive a sinus massage under the guidance of the instructor.
Students will also learn safety precautions and contraindications involved with sinus conditions and the techniques used.
90% of the course is practical classes because only through practice do you acquire skills!

What is a sinus massage?
