This Indian Head Massage course is open to any individual who wants to practice the traditional art of Head Massage.
As a bonus, the course will also include training in the use of traditional Indian Hair oils and how to incorporate them into a typical treatment. You will learn 3 different ways of head massage.
90% of the course is practical classes because only through practice do you acquire skills.
It is suitable for those wishing to expand their knowledge, further their skills, and provide a wider range of services. For massage therapists or beauty therapists either. Beauty therapists can offer Indian head massage on the bed until the face mask is set. It’s a nice way for extra service.
What Will I Learn?
Focused on holistically healing the mind, body, and spirit, Indian head massage uses a combination of typical and traditional movements over the body’s tissues, muscles, scalp, and hair – helping to ground the recipient and encourage a feeling of relaxation, peace, and wellbeing throughout the body.
The Indian Head Massage Diploma Course will give you a deeper understanding of Indian head massage, relevant anatomy, client consultation, preparation, provision and aftercare of treatment, and health and safety information.
Introducing you to Indian head massage, the course shares its origins, development, and benefits, along with introducing you to Ayurveda and the chakras. As a bonus, this Indian head Massage course will also include training in the use of traditional Indian Hair oils and how to incorporate them into a typical treatment.
You’ll be guided through the client consultation process and how to set up and prepare for treatment. We’ll learn the movements and techniques of an entire Indian head massage and what to discuss with your client after the treatment.
The course concludes with a look at how to keep clients and the working environment safe by adhering to health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.
Assessment and Examination Method
There will be continuous formative assessments taking place during your training day and you will be expected to answer verbal questions and perform a body wrap with minimal direction from your tutor over one day.

All course manuals are included in the price of the course - you will get a bound hard copy course manual given to you on the day of your training.
This one-day course diploma allows you to offer a professional Indian Head Massage to your clients at your work as an employee at a spa, parlour, or self-employed therapist.
We offer small classes of just 4 - 8 students, making sure that you get individual attention and high-quality training from a very experienced tutor.
