Deep Tissue Massage Course
1 day
9 am - 4:30 pm

Requirements
This massage course is open to all qualified massage therapists who hold a current qualification in Anatomy, Physiology & Massage.
If you’ve ever been on the receiving end of a deep tissue massage, you know that this style of massage therapy is anything but relaxing. That’s because where Swedish or foundational massage can be superficial—with gently gliding strokes over the muscle—deep tissue work requires slow strokes with acute pressure to treat both the muscle and the connective tissues.

It is suitable for those wishing to expand their knowledge, further their skills, and provide their clients with a wider range of services.

Completing the deep tissue massage course will leave therapists confident to carry out tailored treatments, not only for relaxation but also to provide deep tissue massage to relieve muscular pains and areas of tight knots and tension. It will introduce students to the concepts of Therapeutic Massage and the principles of deeper and more effective massage techniques.
This massage course will also include the basis of postural observation and show students how to utilize this information to assist in forming a specific client treatment plan.
